Talk about a nightmare! We went with the same company who installed the laminate flooring because they had done such a great job. Well this time we had installed travetine tile with granite inserts in our hallways, living room, dining room, and kitchen. Again we had baseboards upgraded and also had crown molding installed. The last job done in this phase was to change our sliding glass doors to french doors. Originally, this project was to take 4 days maybe 5 days top. Monday's demolition went will. Tuesday, the installation of the tile was going well until they ran out. We had to wait 2 days before they could resume. Friday, they installed tile but again they ran out. We did have our doors installed on Wednesday which was great. Monday no workers. Tuesday morning we had someone come out and install the crown molding. Wednesday morning they completed the baseboards. Thursday, they came out and completed the tiling. Our flooring, base boards, and crown molding are spectacular! But the wait and inconvience was not acceptable!
You will have to wait until next summer for Phase 3!

Phase I of Remodeling
During Spring Break, we had installed laminate flooring in all our bedrooms. We also had them replace the base boards with new are larger ones. Wow! What a difference it made in the rooms.
